The job
None of the walls in the kitchen were parallel — normal in a house of this age, and the reason a modular kitchen would have finished with a visible taper at the end of the run.
Everything was measured on site after the strip-out and built to those dimensions. The worktop was templated after the carcasses were installed rather than from the drawing, which is the only way to get a stone joint that closes.
